Female Disability Support Worker – Mental Health Focus | Frankston Are you a calm, confident, and experienced FEMALE disability support worker with a passion for mental health? We’re looking for someone just like you to join a stable team supporting a woman with Schizoaffective Disorder – Bipolar Type (Rapid Cycling). The client presents with manic and depressive episodes, leading to complex behaviours. Despite these challenges, the client enjoys personal grooming, shopping, music, and TV. She values her independence and dislikes being told what to do in her own home. Key Responsibilities: Provide trauma-informed, person-centred support Assist with daily living and emotional regulation Use de-escalation strategies to manage behaviours Promote independence while maintaining safe boundaries Location: Frankston Shifts: Permanent Part Time Role (55 hours/FN): (Set Permanent Part Time roster, MUST be available for all the shifts below): Week 1 Monday: 5:00pm to 10:00pm Tuesday: 12:00pm to 5:00pm Wednesday: 12:00pm to 5:00pm Friday: 5:00pm to 10:00pm Saturday: 3:00pm to 10:00pm Sunday: 12:00pm to 3:00pm Week 2 Monday: 12:00pm to 5:00pm Tuesday: 12:00pm to 5:00pm Wednesday: 10:00pm to 7:00am Friday 5:00pm to 10:00pm Requirements Mental health background (preferred) NDIS Workers Screening Check Working with Children Check First Aid and CPR certificate Certificate III or IV in individual support, disability or equivalent Australian driver's license and your own fully insured vehicle Pay Rates SCHADS Award PPT schedule E 3.1 SIL Day Shift (Base Pay Rate): $33.03 Afternoon Shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $37.16 Active Night Shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday): $37.98.
