Job Description As a Junior Legal Counsel, you will provide pragmatic, proactive, and insightful advice to support business operations effectively. Your role will focus on reviewing and negotiating customer and supplier contracts, assisting with tender requirements, whilst managing and advising on legal risks. You'll identify practical, commercially sound solutions and contribute to the development of legal strategies. Key Duties Review and negotiate terms and conditions for equipment hire contracts and non-hire contracts Review other forms of deeds and agreements (releases, settlements, non-disclosures, restraints, assignment) and advise the business Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve issues in negotiations, identify trends and recurring issues Assisting with resolution of disputes and claims Assisting with review and negotiation with lease agreements Assist with day to day matters as needed for efficient deliverables Assist with general corporate governance tasks to support Company Secretary duties Undertake other roles and responsibilities as directed by the manager in line with your knowledge, skills and abilities Desired Skills and Experience Desired Skills and Experience Minimum University Degree in Relevant Field Experience in reviewing and negotiating contracts Excellent stakeholder engagement skills Commercially astute, able to negotiate commercial contracts with strong attention to detail Understanding when to make commercial concessions and balancing that appropriately against legal risks Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads to meet the dynamic nature of the business Highly disciplined and skilled at coordinating tasks, managing deadlines Hands-on approach and willingness to extend and grow the role to meet the needs to the business and the legal team Benefits and Perks Employee Recognition Program Profit Share opportunities Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Discounted Health Insurance Onsite is committed to achieving a diverse and socially inclusive workforce.
