WHS Administrator Location: Nowra Area Employment Type: Part-Time Up to 3 Days per Week Rate: Competitive hourly rate. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive WHS Administrator to join our Waste Depot operations on a part-time basis (up to 3 days per week). In this key support role, you'll ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations through the administration and coordination of Work Health and Safety (WHS) systems and practices. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update WHS records, registers, and documentation including incident logs, SDS, and safety audits. Coordinate depot inspections, site walk-throughs, signage updates, and staff inductions. Assist with reporting, investigation, and follow-up of incidents, injuries, and near-misses. Escalate high-risk safety concerns to management promptly. Schedule, coordinate, and record mandatory and role-specific WHS training for depot staff and contractors. Support the delivery of toolbox talks and safety briefings. Schedule and manage training records, licences, and certifications for depot personnel and contractors. Review contractor WHS documentation and ensure induction compliance prior to site access. Assist with internal audits, safety procedure reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. About You Essential: Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or currently undertaking). Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and Codes of Practice. Previous WHS administration/support experience in depot, construction, logistics, or similar operational settings. Strong attention to detail, organisational, and record-keeping skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and WHS software platforms. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Desirable: Experience in Local Government or public sector environments. Knowledge of risk management and safety auditing methodologies. Current First Aid and CPR certification.
