Customer Service Representative – Government Opportunity Start Date: 20 June 2025 End Date: 19 December 2025 Location: Gosford, NSW Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday) About the Role This is a fantastic opportunity to represent a trusted government brand in a fast-paced contact centre environment. You will play a key role in supporting the Road Safety 2 business lines , helping customers with their enquiries via phone and digital platforms, and delivering high-quality service that aligns with Service NSW values. Key Details Pay Rate: $36.11 per hour super (paid as Non-Shiftworkers under the Clerks Award) Contract Length: 6 months (until 19 December 2025) Location: Gosford Contact Centre – on-site training is required Hours: 7 hours per day / 35 hours per week Roster: Rotating shifts between 7:00am – 7:00pm, Monday to Friday (shift pattern changes every 2 weeks) Assessment Centre: Shortlisted candidates must attend an in-person Assessment Centre at Gosford on Thursday, 5 June 2025 (approx. 90 minutes) Pre-employment checks: National Police Check (High Risk) and two professional references required About You We’re looking for candidates who bring: 2–3 years' experience in customer service (call centre, administration, or retail) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Intermediate computer literacy , including: Typing and navigating computer systems Strong email etiquette Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Teams Previous experience working in an office or professional environment The ability to learn new systems quickly and follow structured procedures A professional and team-oriented attitude Government experience is desirable but not essential . Training & Support Comprehensive 12-week on-site training program, including classroom sessions and ‘nesting’ with SME support Post-training, you’ll transition into working independently with support from your Team Leader and SMEs Candidates must be located in NSW and in close proximity to Gosford for training, nesting, and potential office attendance Full-time remote work is not offered , though hybrid arrangements may be considered depending on business needs and individual performance
