We are seeking disability support workers who are self-motivated to provide exceptional support to individuals living in Supported Independent Living (SIL) accommodation and in private homes. You will have the opportunity to actively support non verbal clients in developing essential skills, assisting with personal care and social support. The shifts are generally 8 hours long, regular and consistent. Ideally you will be available for a combination of inactive sleepovers and day shifts. Your key responsibilities Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate Disability Support Workers who can undertake the following key responsibilities: Manual handling Personal care Behaviour reporting Medication administration Domestic assistance Ideally, you will have: Certificate III in Individual Support / Disability or similar Experience with non verbal clients Experience with PBSP Experience with enteral peg feeding Previous disability experience Current First Aid and CPR NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) Working with Children Check (Blue Card) Current driver licence and own vehicle We are also looking for someone with excellent communication skills, builds rapport quickly, actively engages with clients, has a caring and supportive nature, and who takes a client-centred approach.
