We’re looking for motivated Call Centre Operators to join a major NSW Government team based in Newcastle. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-volume customer service environment Location: Newcastle Contact Centre Contract: 27 June – 26 December 2025 Rate: $34.59/hour Super Hours: 7 hours/day, 35 hours/week Requirements: NSW-based only | Police Check (High Risk) | 2 References Interviews: In-person between 12–19 June About the Role Provide phone-based support on a rotating roster (6am–10pm, Mon–Sun incl. public holidays) Roster rotates every 4 weeks (early/mid/late shifts) Initial full-time training (approx. 10–12 weeks), followed by supervised nesting period No initial WFH. Hybrid possible post-training based on performance and business need Required: Intermediate computer skills (Outlook, Teams, typing, email etiquette) Preferred: Previous office, government, or call centre experience If hybrid is approved: You’ll need a stable high-speed internet connection and smartphone for secure access.
