About the Role As a Sales Coordinator, you will be an essential member of Atkar’s internal sales team, supporting external sales consultants and ensuring a seamless customer experience. This is a highly service-oriented and transactional role involving managing incoming customer enquiries, coordinating quotes and samples, updating CRM systems, and following up on project progress. You will act as the central communication hub, ensuring clear and timely information flow regarding technical product details and sales activity. This role is ideal for an organised, detail-focused individual who enjoys supporting a team and has an aptitude for technical product information. With comprehensive training and ongoing mentorship, there is potential to develop into a full sales role within 6 to 12 months. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Inbound Sales Support Manage a high volume of incoming phone calls and email enquiries from architects, builders, contractors, and other clients Provide clear, professional responses to product, pricing, and availability questions Prepare and send accurate quotes promptly, aligned with pricing guidelines and client needs Coordinate sample requests on behalf of the sales team and internal stakeholders Provide initial support and escalate complex queries to the appropriate sales or technical personnel Sales Coordination & Administrative Support Support sales representatives by tracking project progress, documentation, and follow-ups Organise and confirm bookings for client meetings, CPD sessions, and product presentations Maintain CRM data accuracy by logging all interactions, quotes, and sales activities in a timely manner Monitor sales pipeline status and communicate updates to the sales team Liaise with marketing, logistics, and operations teams to ensure smooth sales process execution Product Knowledge & Technical Familiarity Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Atkar’s product range and technical specifications Assist in product matching and solution recommendations tailored to client requirements Stay current with product updates, new releases, and technical developments Internal Communication & Collaboration Work closely with specification consultants, lead generation team, and management to ensure a unified sales effort Proactively communicate customer insights, feedback, and market observations to help shape product and sales strategies Ensure smooth handover of leads, quotes, and customer insights to relevant team members Organisation & Process Efficiency Maintain high standards of accuracy and timeliness in all documentation and communication Organize and prioritize multiple tasks effectively to manage active quotes, requests, and follow-ups across various projects Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal sales processes and CRM usage What You’ll Bring 2 years experience in customer service, sales support, or internal sales (preferably B2B, construction, manufacturing, or wholesale) Excellent phone and email communication skills with a professional and friendly approach Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail, especially when managing quotes and CRM data Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or BCI Ability to multitask effectively and work with accuracy under time constraints Confidence in handling customer enquiries and providing prompt, clear responses Technical aptitude and willingness to learn detailed product information Positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to learning and continuous improvement Patience and resilience in follow-ups, supporting salespeople without direct client contact Team player with strong collaboration and communication skills Why Join Atkar?
