Desktop Support Engineer — North Sydney, North Sydney Area

The Desktop Support Engineer position will see you initially add value by leveraging your skills to support our people operating within a Windows environment. Shortly after, you can also expect to broaden your skills further by getting involved on projects and learning the different environments we utilize within FinClear. The Desktop Support Engineer plays a key role in providing a fast and effective on-site and remote support for clients experiencing hardware and software issues; and installing, maintaining and upgrading operating systems, software and hardware. Key Responsibilities Provide onsite and remote support Preparation & maintenance of required hardware and application configuration Create & manage user/device accounts Provide technical support & rectification of technical issues Assist with the support and management of landline, internet & mobile telecommunications Ensure the performance of local area network (LAN) applications, Wi-Fi network & IT infrastructure are optimised across all sites Ensure secure IT systems and infrastructure across all platforms and assets Maintain accurate ICT documentation & inventory database Work closely with all teams to enhance processes & implement new technologies Essential This is a onsite, 5 day in the office role. Ability to be the focal point and provide excellent customer/client service Track record in supporting a Windows environment Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues across: desktops, laptops, outlooks, mobiles, tablets and more Capabilities working with Active Directory, Office 365 Windows, MacOS, Linux Microsoft Office Application Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive Ivanti ITSM Atlassian Jira & Confluence Audio/Video Conferencing Configuration, Analysis and Management AWS Willingness and ability to learn
