About the business A food factory in Coburg North is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to fill the full time roles of Electrical Engineering Technician and Engineering Technologist. About the role Duties/Responsibilities: For Electrical Engineering Technician Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during, and after operation of company’s machines and equipments. Research electrical networks, implement findings and gather data, conduct tests and complex calculations, prepare charts and tabulations. Develop plans of electrical distribution systems and circuitry. Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments. Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of developmental parts, assemblies, or systems under simulated operating conditions, and record results. Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical instruments or testing equipment. Estimate materials costs and quantities. Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Duties/Responsibilities: For Engineering Technologist Analyze and suggest solution on existing technology application improvement and development Prepare, modify drawings of new technologies and participate in installing, and modifying equipments to ensure that critical standards are met. Assist in developing and testing prototype processing systems Test developmental equipment and formulate standard operating procedures. Test processing equipment and instruments to observe and record operating characteristics and performance of specified design, process or engineering project. Prepare technical reports Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment. Benefits and perks Great salary package ($75,000 to $95,000) will be rewarded to the right candidate.
