The Gig With a strong pipeline of infrastructure projects on deck, a newly created role is available for a proactive , detail-oriented, and solution-driven , Senior Project Engineer to join the business. Your primary goal is simple, You will be accountable for providing engineering expertise to develop project construction methodologies; plan and price scopes of work, along with technical content and programs for a civil project based in Western Sydney working alongside a large Tier 2 builder. Reporting to the Project Manager you’ll ply your trade, and be trusted with; Developing and managing project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely, cost-effective completion. Leading and overseeing daily operations on construction sites, ensuring safety and project specifications. Providing engineering expertise and technical support throughout the project lifecycle. Implementing and monitoring quality control measures to meet project standards and client expectations. Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure effective communication and progress. Managing and allocating resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Identifying and resolving technical and operational issues to maintain smooth project execution. Ensuring compliance with legal, environmental, and safety regulations across all project activities. Developing accurate project documentation and preparing regular progress reports for stakeholders. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices in project management. What’s In Your Toolbox? Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) 7 years of experience in civil infrastructure and construction projects Proficient in MS Project, Procore, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D Strong project management, budgeting, risk management, quality control, and compliance knowledge Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, time management, and multitasking skills Your strong communication and problem-solving skills will help you thrive in a supportive team, with plenty of opportunities to grow and make an impact.
