Our client – one of the Tier 1 Mining Companies - is looking for an energic, experienced Mining Engineer with a high level of safety and a can-do attitude. This role is a permanent role reporting to the Technical Service Manager. As a Mining Engineer, you will focus on schedule and planning to ensure that coal production is delivered efficiently. Key Responsibility: Developing and implementing mine plans that allow operations to meet or exceed productivity. Create designs and schedules that are operationally and technically robust and maximise value. Ensuring the effective mine designs and schedules are implemented accurately. Building rapport and maintaining a solid working relationship with Production and CHPP teams to ensure that targets are achieved across the operation. About you: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering. Proven experience in Open and Cut Coal mining or relevant (Coal highly regarded). Excellent communication, both verbal and written. Meticulous high-driven individual with a strong work ethic and demonstrated a high level of safety commitment.
