Lead the end-to-end hydraulic design process for major, high-profile projects, ensuring innovative, efficient, and sustainable solutions from inception through to delivery. Provide expert guidance on local standards and regulatory frameworks, proactively engaging with authorities and key stakeholders to ensure compliance and streamline approvals. Influence and drive collaboration across multidisciplinary, international teams to deliver integrated, client-focused outcomes that align with strategic business objectives. Mentor and lead project teams, shaping technical direction and fostering leadership capabilities to build high-performing, resilient teams. How will your future be shaped by us? We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life. We are also looking for: Advanced tertiary qualification in engineering, ideally Mechanical Engineering, with a proven track record in delivering complex engineering solutions. Extensive experience leading hydraulic systems design and consultancy within the building services sector, demonstrating technical authority and strategic oversight. In-depth knowledge of local authority regulations, Australian Standards, and industry best practices, with the ability to navigate and influence compliance frameworks. Demonstrated capability to oversee and endorse comprehensive hydraulic design documentation, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with project goals. Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and confidently, advising senior stakeholders and clients to support informed decision-making. Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills with a strong sense of autonomy, driving delivery within tight deadlines and evolving project scopes. Collaborative leader adept at working within and influencing multidisciplinary teams to foster innovation and deliver holistic project solutions. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences through articulate, persuasive, and clear messaging.
