The Opportunity We are seeking Expressions of Interest for the Relief Administration Coordinator role across Victoria . In this full-time, permanent position, you’ll provide essential operational and administrative support to our Care Communities—filling in during staff leave, recruitment periods, or transitional times. You’ll also play a key role in training and mentoring new team members while ensuring alignment with Opal’s standards, systems, and values. If you’re an experienced administrator with excellent organisation, people, and problem-solving skills—and you’re ready to support and uplift aged care communities—this is your chance to grow with purpose. Key Responsibilities Step into Care Communities in a relief capacity, supporting day-to-day operations Lead, coach and support administrative teams to maintain high-performance standards Manage core functions such as rosters, recruitment, filing systems, and compliance Deliver onboarding and ongoing support for new and current team members Collaborate with General Managers to embed Opal’s vision, values, and best practices Identify and drive continuous improvement in administrative workflows and systems Ensure compliance with WH&S requirements and emergency management protocols What You’ll Bring Demonstrated experience in administration management or coordination Strong communication and organisational skills Proven ability to support and mentor others Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement Ability to prioritise in a dynamic and multi-site working environment Willingness to travel across multiple Care Communities within Victoria What Opal Offers You Permanent full-time role with a strong sense of purpose and impact Support from Team Planning Manager and national support office Ongoing leadership development, mentoring, and training Career pathways within Australia’s largest residential aged care provider Make a difference every day while growing your skills and career in a values-driven organisation.
