Part-Time Integration Engineer (Boomi) - 3 Days/Week Location: Ultimo, NSW (Hybrid Working Available) Client: Leading Organisation in the Education Sector Part-Time: 3 Days per Week We're looking for a skilled Integration Engineer to join a collaborative team supporting a forward-thinking client in the education sector. This part-time role (3 days/week) offers the perfect balance of flexibility and technical challenge, focused on enterprise integration and data flow across systems. About the Role: You'll take ownership of end-to-end integration development using Boomi AtomSphere, helping the client streamline system interactions and data processing. You'll be deeply involved in designing scalable solutions that support APIs, microservices, and real-time data streaming. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and support integrations using Boomi AtomSphere Build and maintain APIs and microservices to connect cloud and on-prem systems Work with AWS data streaming tools (e.g., Kinesis, SQS, Lambda) for real-time integration and data flow Ensure integrations are secure, efficient, and scalable Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions Monitor integration performance and conduct root cause analysis of issues Document processes, data flows, and system interfaces clearly and effectively Requirements: Strong hands-on experience with Boomi AtomSphere Proficient in designing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices architectures Experience with AWS data streaming technologies such as Kinesis, Lambda, and SQS Solid understanding of JSON, XML, SOAP, and data transformation techniques Proven experience in enterprise system integration projects Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work effectively in a part-time (3-day/week) capacity Nice to Have: Boomi certifications Experience in the education sector or working with public institutions Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git) Knowledge of security best practices for data exchange and API access If you wish to apply for this position, please submit your resume by clicking the 'Apply Now' button.
