Role Overview: Campus Opco Bell Pty Ltd is seeking a dynamic Sales and Marketing Manager. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be highly autonomous and accountable for identifying and developing business opportunities. You will develop beneficial networks and business relationships with customers, suppliers and partners in this sector that lead to a sustainable and growing business. Keys to your success will be your ability to establish a relationship with key accounts and retaining a pro-active sales mindset and uncovering new opportunities for Hotels within region whilst considering Hotels outside of region, identify new market opportunities and determine appropriate strategies for gaining market share. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Targets: Develop and execute sales strategies, setting targets to maximize sales and customer loyalty. Marketing Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of marketing strategies to enhance brand presence and market share. Market Research & Distribution: Establish distribution networks, conduct market research, and assess the potential of new and existing markets. Organizational Policies: Establish sales and marketing policies aligned with company objectives. Data Analysis & Performance: Analyze data, measure campaign performance, and adjust strategies as needed. Client Relationships & Contracts: Lead the sales team in building strong client relationships and manage sales contract negotiations. Pricing & Promotion: Determine pricing and propose promotions structures in line with market trends and competitors. Relationship Development: Develop constructive and mutually beneficial long-term relationships with clients, suppliers, associates, and potential partners. Financial/Commercial Acumen: Demonstrate strong financial/commercial acumen, including timely report writing (P&L and monthly reports). Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with management and hotel staff to ensure a memorable client experience. Team Culture: Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement within the team. Travel Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel as/when required (national and international). Skills and Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience in business development, sales management, and project leadership. Extensive experience in developing marketing initiatives. Strong networks in the hospitality sector. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field. Sales experience in the hotel market or a similar field Excellent interpersonal skills with guests and colleagues. A results-driven attitude. A proactive approach to securing business.
