Job Description About the Company Our Federal Client is at the forefront of national security, driving innovation in intelligence and cybersecurity to safeguard Australia’s interests in an increasingly complex global landscape. About the role This is a significant body of work, and the successful candidate will be required to support the Chief Architect with the successful delivery of activities and upgrades by adding your expertise and knowledge to the design and implementation of components of the environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing input, and contributing, to the detailed designs to inform the delivery of the upgrades. Role Responsibilities Minimum 3 years of experience as an infrastructure engineer Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing hypervisor technologies. Minimum 2 years experience contributing to the successful outcome of ICT projects within a Federal Government environment. Demonstrated experience with Windows Server administration and troubleshooting. Demonstrated experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration and troubleshooting. Knowledge of scripting for automation (PowerShell, Ansible etc). Demonstrated experience delivering documentation to a high standard. Demonstrated experience solving complex problems What is on offer The contract period is 12 months, with 2X12 extension options.
