Job Description Are you passionate about supporting research and facilitating outcomes? We are seeking a highly organised person to provide high quality support to the Research Grants team and Griffith University Community in administering research grant applications and awards. Join a dynamic Research Grants team where you'll play a key role in driving impactful research by managing communications, streamlining systems, and ensuring seamless administrative support. From coordinating with key stakeholders to maintaining vital data and supporting grant activities, this is a rewarding and engaging role at the heart of university research excellence. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Providing administrative support for the office including room bookings, filing, photocopying and maintaining registers, calendars and databases. Managing and prioritise Outlook inboxes, responding to queries from stakeholders across the university, and directing complex inquiries to appropriate team members. Liaise with key funding agencies on administrative matters, including adding and removing users. Assisting with data entry, management, and maintenance in the Research Administration database, along with related SharePoint and Excel files, and generate queries and reports as needed. Providing support to the Research Grants team to meet deadlines, including compiling and distributing documents, preparing reports and routine correspondence, disseminating information to the University community, Assisting in the development and enhancement of efficient procedures. Supporting compliance with University Policy and Procedures and Auditing requirements. About you The successful candidate will have completed year 12 with relevant work experience; or extensive administration experience relevant to the requirements of the position or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, and/or education and/or training. You will be a highly organised person who adapts quickly to new technology and processes. You will also have: Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Exceptional organisational skills Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to quickly adapt to new software. Knowledge of the university sector will be highly regarded. What we can offer This is a fixed term (approx 10 months), full-time position primarily based at either Griffith University Gold Coast or Brisbane South (Nathan). As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations. Griffith University’s campuses are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples. Salary Range The full-time base salary for a HEW Level 4 is in the range $73,623 - $77,680 per annum, plus 17% superannuation. The total package will be in the range $86,139 - $90,886 per annum.
