Description The ROLE Assists with planning and construction phases of the project. Plan and support onsite construction activities including providing direction as required. Assists in the preparation of the construction and environmental method statements and other documentation as required in the project planning conditions as required. Setup project quality controls in accordance with Project Specifications. Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site as required. Track daily production and costings, develops forecast cost to complete and measure performance against this for activity codes/budget within area of responsibility. Assists Project Manager and site staff in evaluating third party designs and construction methods. Ensure that all activities are completed in a safe and efficient way. Any other duties or tasks as reasonably directed. Skills And Experiences About YOU Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent. 5 years relevant experience in civil construction industry including minimum 1 year at Project Engineer level. High level of competency in project delivery and financial reporting Comprehensive knowledge of civil engineering principals to maximise sustainability and safety wile minimising defects. Detailed knowledge of Government specifications, Australian standards, contract administration, procurement and subcontracting principles. Highly developed communication skills both written and verbal to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues and management. Abililty to understand, write and implement Project Management Plan(s) and Specifications. Sound understanding of Microsoft Office software - in particular Microsoft Excel. Current Drivers licence White Card Managed delivery for package of work or project in excess of $2 million in value.
