About the role We're seeking a hands-on and experienced customer service professional to supervise and support our Sydney CBD-based customer service and warehouse team. This is a full-time, short-term role to cover a parental leave period. Reporting to the Director of Retail Operations, you will play a key role in supporting our retail store teams across Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. You’ll lead day-to-day customer service operations, ensure timely and accurate communication around product availability and orders, and maintain a high standard of operational efficiency in our warehouse. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service & Retail Support Manage and respond to enquiries from store teams and customers via digital channels Lead the customer service team and resolve escalated queries Oversee ZenDesk and maintain strong NPS and review ratings Support retail operations, including store setups and relocations Greet and assist visitors at our Sydney CBD head office Warehouse & Inventory Supervise the packing and dispatch of supplies Conduct stock forecasting, approvals, and regular stocktakes Manage inter-store transfers and returns Assist with quality control of incoming orders during peak periods About the person Qualifications and Experience: Background in customer service, retail operations, or warehouse coordination Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Proven ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills Confident in cultivating a positive, team-oriented environment Proficient in Google Sheets or MS Excel Experience using ZenDesk and Magento (or similar CRM platforms) Optical industry experience is a plus If you are interested in joining a growing global network of optometry service providers please apply.
