About the Role You will be responsible for providing commercially focused legal counsel across intellectual property, privacy law, cyber regulation, and data protection. This includes supporting digital services, platform innovation, and strategic partnerships. The role spans internal policy development, stakeholder engagement, and shaping positions on regulatory reform. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic legal advice on IP rights, data governance, and privacy risk. Interpret and apply privacy and cyber law frameworks across product and service lines. Review and negotiate contracts involving sensitive data and licensing terms. Advise on incident response planning, breach management, and regulatory notifications. Collaborate with cybersecurity, risk, and compliance teams to align legal frameworks. Support the development of privacy-by-design principles in tech and product lifecycles. Engage with government and regulatory agencies on legislative reform. Assist in developing internal policies and staff training programs. Manage disputes and litigation related to IP or data misuse. Advise commercial teams on open-source software, licensing, and IP rights in innovation projects. Mentor legal team members and contribute to a high-performance legal culture.
