Role Overview: As a Presales Engineer, you will be instrumental in connecting sophisticated legal technology with clients’ needs. You’ll collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to understand client requirements, deliver compelling demonstrations, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Solution Design & Presentation Understand client challenges and identify tailored solutions that showcase the value of our client’s products. Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations that clearly communicate the value proposition. ✅ Technical Expertise & Support Act as a subject matter expert, addressing technical questions and guiding clients through the evaluation process. Leverage your understanding of document management systems (e.g., iManage) and case management systems (e.g., Actionstep) to design robust, client-focused solutions. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to stay up-to-date on new features and improvements. ✅ Client Engagement Build strong relationships with prospective clients and understand their technical and operational environments. Participate in discovery sessions, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements to validate solutions and ensure alignment with client expectations. ✅ Collaboration Work closely with the sales team to develop proposals that address client needs and deliver maximum value. Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to inform future development based on client insights. Key Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3 years of experience in presales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting (ideally in SaaS or legal technology). Familiarity with document management systems like iManage and case management systems like Actionstep. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, client-focused approach. Nice to have: experience with document automation tools and workflows.
