About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Administrator to join our finance and administration team. This is a key role responsible for supporting end-to-end financial administration, payroll, and business support functions to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. You will be part of a collaborative and high-performing team, contributing directly to the business’ financial integrity and operational efficiency. Your responsibilities: Payroll Administration Weekly timesheet and coding management Fortnightly payroll processing and payments (Viewpoint experience desirable) Compliance with FBT, Payroll Tax, and BAS obligations. Accounts Payable End-to-end invoice processing and supplier payment runs Purchase Order management and 3-way matching Workflow management and supplier statement reconciliations Systems and Banking Confidence in navigating banking portals and digital finance platforms Travel and Expense Management Organise travel bookings and expenses Implementation and management of expense software (e.g., Concur) Liaison with external service providers Administrative and Business Support Answering incoming calls and supporting general procurement Maintaining key registers, logs, and lists Championing strong internal controls across all finance and admin functions Providing general administrative support across the business as required Key Requirements: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or substantial experience as a seasoned bookkeeper with strong financial administration capabilities Working knowledge of project accounting and financial operations within a project-based environment Proficiency with financial systems, with experience in Viewpoint Vista considered highly desirable Exposure to ERP implementations or finance system development, with an interest in continuous process improvement Solid understanding of BAS, FBT, and Payroll Tax obligations and compliance High level of attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and support operational functions Location: This role is a full-time role, working onsite in our head office at 12 Creek Street in the Brisbane CBD.
