We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Warehouse Receipting Officer to join our friendly team in our busy Melbourne Airport catering unit on a full-time permanent basis. More about this role: As the Receipting Officer, you will be responsible for providing administration and data support to the Warehouse Manager, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of customer Airline equipment, from shipment notification to stock take submission. What are your responsibilities? Check and record delivery data including SKU, UOM, weight and quantities for electronic submission to 3PL providers. Use proprietary warehousing systems for accurate and timely receipting of goods inwards for control of stock inventory. Responsible for the daily data and administrative tasks including end of month stock take data for Emirates Airline and others as locally required. Participate in end of month stock takes and audits, ensuring all receipting is closed prior to the end of the month. Assist with placing goods in their allocated stores location as required. Ensure all data entry and stock control is in line with Customs and ATO requirements Prepares requisitions or orders for materials under supervision. Maintain accurate records and files for efficient operation. Provide analysis of warehousing and airline costs to the warehouse leadership team. Utilise GI tracking data to ensure timely receipt and delivery of goods to 3PL. Provide analytical support for internal and external stakeholders as required. Contribute to a safety first environment and work within WHS policies and procedures. What do you need to be successful in securing this role? Experience in Purchasing, Stores or Loading Dock in a Supply Chain environment. Experience using an ERP system (would be highly regarded). Display high levels of attention to detail, time management and multi-tasking skills. Proficiency in using Systems and MS-Suite (Advanced Excel and Outlook preferred). Good knowledge of HACCP/Food Safety, QSAI requirements and WHS. Knowledge of warehousing compliance, including Customs and ATO bonded goods Demonstrate a sound knowledge of general Stores and Warehousing procedures. Competent in documentation and records management. Good verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders.
