We are currently seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our team in Perth in a full time role. Applicants must have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role and hold a relevant qualification. Roles and Responsibilities: Designing and engineering treatment systems to recover water to alleviate pressure on local water sources and to recover valuable resources from wastewater sources to improve environmental sustainability. Engineering wastewater treatment system to ensure treated effluent meets environmental regulation. Developing test protocols for operating Demonstration Plant and designed Pilot treatment system, ensuring reliable performance and operational data. Carrying out feasibility study and prepared study reports for new treatment projects and investments. Performing audits, site assessments and provided solutions for improvement on existing treatment systems to mitigate the risk to the environment caused due to water discharge. Coordinating with Statutory and Government Authorities to prepare necessary documentation to get relevant project approval. Performing equipment sizing, pressure loss calculations, determined optimal pipe sizes. Utilizing projection software such as Ultrafiltration modules, Reverse osmosis & Nanofiltration membranes. Preparing technical documents including process descriptions, process flow diagrams (PFD), process & instrumentation diagram (P&ID), hydraulic level diagram, chemical consumption, pressure loss calculations, control philosophy, functional description, datasheets, performance guarantees statements Collaborating with both internal teams (including regional offices) and external stakeholders such as customers, consultants, and contractors to ensure project alignment and success. Prepared presentations and reports to communicate project progress and solutions. Providing after sales support and provide recommendations to customers to ensure smooth and optimized operation of the treatment plant. Setting career objectives for graduates and facilitated discussions to identify opportunities for improvement and professional development.
