Working closely with the HR Manager and the broader HR team, you'll play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day HR functions across the school, with a strong focus on optimising and maintaining the ELMO HRIS platform. Your efforts will help deliver a positive employee experience and contribute to the implementation of the school’s people strategy. What you'll be doing: Oversee the ELMO HRIS, ensuring accurate data entry, user support, report generation, and system optimisation across onboarding, learning, compliance, and performance modules. Supporting recruitment and onboarding processes for new staff, ensuring a smooth and professional experience from start to finish. Assisting with the coordination of training and development activities, including maintaining training records and helping with scheduling. Preparing HR documentation such as employment contracts, letters, and reports, and ensuring files are up-to-date and compliant. Maintaining and updating HR systems and employee records with a strong attention to detail. Providing first-line HR support to employees and managers with day-to-day queries related to policies, entitlements, and procedures. Assisting in the review and maintenance of HR policies and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal standards. Supporting key projects and initiatives led by the HR Manager. What we're looking for: 2–4 years’ experience in an HR Administrator or Coordinator role,ideally within a school or similar compliance-focused setting. Hands-on expertise with ELMO is highly desirable - especially in managing onboarding, training, compliance, and reporting features. A keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy when handling confidential employee records and contracts. A warm, approachable nature with a strong customer service mindset. High level of attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Confidence using HRIS systems and Google Workspace. Strong written and verbal communication skills. A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative and supportive environment. A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources (or working towards one) is highly regarded.
