The Job: We are seeking a reliable, experienced, and customer-focused Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Driver to join our growing team. This is a vital role responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of sensitive PC equipment and other medical supplies to and from various metropolitan and regional hospitals. The Responsibilities: Multi-Drop Deliveries: Safely and punctually deliver PC equipment and other freight to multiple metropolitan hospitals daily Collections: Perform collections of equipment and supplies from the same hospital sites Loading and Unloading: Assist with the safe loading and unloading of the truck, ensuring proper securing of goods Regional and Overnight Travel: On occasion, undertake long-distance trips to regional hospitals, which may require overnight stays Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary delivery and collection paperwork, including manifests and logbooks Customer Service: Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour when interacting with hospital staff Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-start checks and ensure the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all road transport regulations, company policies, and health and safety procedures, particularly when working insensitive healthcare environments. The Person: Current MR Class Drivers Licence: Essential, with a clean driving record. Proven Multi-Drop Experience: Demonstrated experience in multi-drop delivery and collection roles, preferably within a commercial setting Physical Fitness: Ability to safely lift and move equipment as required Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Reliability and Punctuality: A strong work ethic and a commitment to being on time Adaptability: Ability to adapt to varying schedules and occasional overnight travel Attention to Detail: Meticulous in handling valuable equipment and completing documentation Customer Service Focus: A professional and friendly approach Full Australian Working Rights: Applicants must possess full, unrestricted working rights in Australia Police Check: Successful candidates will be required to undergo a comprehensive police check Working with Vulnerable Groups Check: A valid Working with Vulnerable Groups (WWVG) check (or equivalent state-based requirement) is essential, or the willingness to obtain one prior to commencement Category: Transportation transportation
