We’re working with a leading Australian manufacturer that specialises in innovative seeding and tillage equipment used across the country’s agricultural landscape. With continued investment in R&D and a growing engineering team, they’re now seeking a Senior Design Engineer to help deliver new and improved products tailored to local farming conditions. About the Role You’ll join a collaborative engineering team focused on full-cycle product development — from concept and prototyping through to testing and final production. Based on-site in Cowra, this is a practical, hands-on role that works closely with fabrication, assembly, and production teams to deliver robust, customer-focused machinery. Design new machinery and refine existing models for performance, efficiency and usability; Use CAD (SolidWorks or Creo) and FEA tools to drive robust, field-tested designs; Liaise with production, marketing and suppliers to ensure smooth product delivery; and Occasionally travel to Mannum, SA to collaborate with the wider team. What We’re Looking For Background in agricultural, mechanical or heavy equipment design; 5 years’ experience in machinery design, ideally with agricultural machinery exposure; Strong skills in product design, CAD, FEA, and engineering documentation; Comfortable working in a regional, on-site environment; and A practical mindset and team-first attitude — you're happy to jump into the detail and support others.
