YOUR ROLE As the E&A Engineer, you’ll be a key technical expert supporting the site's electrical infrastructure and automation systems. You'll work closely with maintenance, production, and project teams to ensure operational reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include: Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve PLC, SCADA, HMI, and MES systems Lead electrical/automation elements of capital and process improvement projects Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and food manufacturing regulations Support root cause analysis for electrical and control system failures Collaborate cross-functionally to implement control upgrades and system improvements Maintain documentation for control systems, wiring, and automation networks IS THIS YOU???? You’re a detail-oriented, hands-on engineer with strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for automation. You take pride in delivering technical solutions that improve safety, efficiency, and reliability in a manufacturing environment. To be successful, you'll bring: A degree or trade qualification in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering 3–5 years' experience in a similar role within FMCG, food, or industrial manufacturing Proven experience with PLCs (e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley), SCADA, and HMI systems Knowledge of MES and industrial communication protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP, Profibus) Strong understanding of WHS, HACCP, and GMP compliance in electrical systems Excellent documentation and communication skills Ability to work autonomously and collaborate across teams Benefits & Culture Enjoy working in a high-performing, supportive team with a strong safety and innovation culture.
