Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with this fantastic health service located Victoria to assist them with finding a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join their team on a permanent part time basis. Job details Up to $45.66 to $52.49 per hour 11.5% superannuation Grade 2 OT Permanent Part time hours - x 32 hours per fortnight Facility You will be working for a regional healthcare facility in their Residential Services Team facilitating more than 260 residents requiring high and low level care across two campuses in regional Victoria caring for some of the most vulnerable older people in this community. Key Responsibilities: Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Evaluate clients’ physical, cognitive, emotional and environmental factors to determine patient occupational performance and functional abilities. Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Set client-centred goals and deliver evidence-based interventions to enhance independence in daily living and occupational tasks. Prescribe Equipment and Environmental Modifications: Recommend assistive devices, adaptive equipment modifications to support safety, function and comfort. Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside healthcare professionals, families and support staff to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients. Document and Evaluate Outcomes: Maintain accurate clinical records, monitor client progress and adjust intervention strategies based on outcomes and evolving needs. To be eligible you must: Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent Eligible for membership to OT AUSTRALIA Possesses the knowledge, skills, and experience expected of a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist Evaluate individuals’ occupational roles, performance, and functional capacity Conduct assessments within the client’s occupational environment Develop client-centred therapeutic goals and implement appropriate, evidence-based interventions Recommend and prescribe equipment and environmental modifications to improve function, safety, and comfor Ability to work highly effectively in a multi-disciplinary environmen A current Victorian drivers license and up to date core competencies (NPC, NDIS clearance, immunisations Must have full Australian working rights (i.e., Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship) To find out more about this position or to receive a copy of the job description please call 02 9188 3989 or email [email protected] and I will be in touch within 24 hours.
