Site Engineer — Melbourne, Melbourne Region

ConsultANZ is currently seeking an experienced and driven Site Engineer to join a JV delivering one of Melbourne’s landmark civil infrastructure projects. This role is focused on the piling package, valued at over $100 million, and presents an exciting opportunity to work on complex foundation and ground engineering solutions at scale. Key Responsibilities: Assist in planning and delivering piling activities, including bored piles, CFA, secant piles, diaphragm walls, and retention systems. Conduct site inspections, quality assurance, and reporting against construction specifications. Support Project Engineers and Supervisors in day-to-day site coordination and issue resolution. Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure program targets and safety standards are met. Maintain accurate site records and contribute to lookahead planning (daily/weekly). Monitor progress and performance against the program and contribute to cost and quantity tracking where required. About You: Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent. 2–4 years’ experience in civil construction, with experience in piling or ground engineering packages. Familiar with industry piling methods and technical requirements. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Experience on Tier 1 or major infrastructure projects is highly desirable. Unrestricted work rights in Australia or eligible for sponsorship.
