With a strong reputation and growing footprint, the business offers its legal team the chance to work across a range of complex and rewarding matters that have both strategic and operational significance. The Role As Senior Lawyer – Property , you’ll manage and advise on a broad scope of property and land-related legal matters. You will: Draft and negotiate leases, licences, access and easement agreements, and land sale contracts; Manage acquisitions, disposals, and voluntary property buybacks; Oversee PEXA settlements and REIQ-based transactions; Advise on property structures including trustee arrangements and land tenure; and Work closely with internal stakeholders to support property strategy and risk management. You’ll also play a leadership role in mentoring junior legal staff and contributing to the ongoing development of legal processes and frameworks. About You You’re a commercially focused lawyer with at least 4 years post-admission experience in property law, ideally gained in-house or within a mid-to-top-tier firm. You bring excellent drafting skills, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to manage matters independently from end to end. Experience with large or complex property portfolios, transactions involving statutory or regulated land, or exposure to digital conveyancing platforms such as PEXA will be highly regarded.
