Due to continued growth, an exciting newly created opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Legal Counsel to join the Legal and Governance team in Melbourne. The Role Reporting to and assisting the General Counsel & Company Secretary you will also support other senior lawyers in the team in providing reliable, accurate, timely and well-informed legal advice to key stakeholders across the various business units. Key responsibilities will include: negotiation, drafting, and review of a wide range of commercial contracts (PPAs, EPC and O&M agreements) assist with project acquisitions, divestments, and joint ventures, advise on regulatory and energy retail matters provide general corporate advice assist with corporate governance matters manage external counsel About you This role would suit an agile and pragmatic junior to mid-level lawyer from a well regarded law firm or similar in-house environment. A background in any of the following would be highly regarded; retail energy, projects, M&A and commercial. What's on offer The is a full-time permanent position based in Melbourne.
