Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for various design, procurement, scheduling and cost management, co-ordination and "hands-on" doing for work packages. Key to this role will be the active communication with other team members and an ability to manage detail across broad project aspects and a variety of engineering disciplines. You will possess Experience of overseeing the design process including developing and maintaining a design management plan, design reviews. verification, authorisation, and validation ensuring appropriate technical and end-user involvement in the design process within the assigned work package Project Control and Procurement/Contract experience Co-ordination of technical specifications, tendering, procurement, contracting and contract administration processes Participate in the negotiation of contracts and resolution of any issues that may arise Oversight of the construction and commissioning process Ensure that relevant design information is provided to the construction team Ensures that commissioning activities within the assigned work packages are planned and resourced If you are looking for a responsible and challenging role within an ASX top 50 heavy industrial giant, working on a project which is set to run and run, we want to speak to you.
