Your Impact: As a pivotal member of our team, you’ll ensure the stability, security, and performance of mission-critical cloud and on-premises systems for our clients. Your expertise will directly shape their technological resilience and growth. What You’ll Do: Lead Cloud Migrations: Execute end-to-end migration of on-premises/hosted VMs to Azure using Azure Migrate, ASR, and third-party tools, ensuring minimal downtime. Resolve Advanced Escalations: Provide 2nd and 3rd-level technical support (onsite/remote) within SLAs, prioritising client uptime and satisfaction. Architect Hybrid Environments: Design and optimise secure, scalable Azure solutions, integrating VMware/Hyper-V for seamless hybrid cloud operations. Strengthen Security Posture: Implement access controls, backups, and firewall policies to protect infrastructure integrity and compliance. Deliver Strategic Projects: Drive system upgrades, disaster recovery plans, and cross-functional initiatives aligned with client objectives. Foster Client Partnerships: Conduct operational reviews, deliver post-incident insights, and shape 3-year IT roadmaps for long-term success. Mentor & Innovate: Guide junior engineers, share expertise, and stay ahead of emerging cloud technologies and best practices. Your Expertise: 7 years in systems engineering, with 3 years of hands-on Azure experience (VM migration, networking.) Mastery of hybrid cloud environments, Azure networking (VNets, VPNs, Load Balancers, NSGs, ExpressRoute), and monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics). Proven background in Windows/Linux administration, Active Directory, Office 365, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V). Experience with backup solutions (Veeam, Azure Backup), firewalls (FortiGate), and RMM tools (Datto RMM desirable). Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python). Exceptional problem-solving skills, ITIL-aligned ticket management, and fluency in technical documentation (IT Glue experience a plus).
