Talenza has been engaged by a leading healthcare provider to source a Senior Network Engineer for a 6-month contract to support their operations and projects. This role plays a critical part in designing and optimising network architecture across clinical and enterprise environments. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level Network Engineer to work with cutting-edge technology in a meaningful, patient-focused industry. Extensive experience as a Network Engineer with senior-level responsibilities. Skilled in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network architecture. Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in high-performing technical teams. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Design and manage complex network infrastructure in a healthcare environment. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support clinical and enterprise systems. Lead the assessment and implementation of network upgrades and improvements. Provide expert troubleshooting and resolution for network-related issues. Document network architecture and configurations for compliance and support purposes. Work closely with stakeholders in both Melbourne and Brisbane to ensure seamless connectivity and system performance. Demonstrated experience in network architecture design and implementation. Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network security. Prior experience working in healthcare or similarly regulated environments is highly desirable. Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are a strong advantage. Ability to manage projects independently and deliver to tight timeframes. Tertiary qualifications in IT, Networking, or a related field.
