Senior IAM Engineer — Brisbane CBD, Brisbane

IAM Engineer As our IAM Engineer you will work along-side a team of identity and governance professionals. You play a crucial role in safeguarding sensitive data, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and optimising user access to our digital resources. This role will require a deep understanding of people data, active directory, corporate technology infrastructure, privileged access and accounts, and a commitment to continually improving security and access controls at Great Southern Bank. This position will commence in July and is open to candidates in Brisbane, offering you the flexibility to work from home two days a week. You’ll make an impact by: • Design, implement, and manage identity and access management (IAM) solutions using SailPoint and CyberArk • Integrate business applications to the identity platforms using a variety of technologies. • Automating identity lifecycle events with available workflow and automation tools • Design and implement robust identity lifecycle workflows • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions with existing systems and applications • Identifying issues with identity data sources and developing plans to remediate • Maintaining a well correlated and sustainable identity model • Developing a forward plan for the management of machine identities • Troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM issues and incidents Do things differently with us To succeed in this role, you will have: • Minimum of 10 years of IT engineering experience • Minimum 2 years of IAM / PAM experience • Experience with User Provisioning and/or IGA • Knowledge of federation standards, including SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect • Experience with directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP) and authentication protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) • Excellent understanding of and an in-depth technical knowledge of AD • Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including user provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and privileged access management (PAM) • Scripting, workflow and automation experience • Experience implementing Single Sign-On and Multi Factor Authentication • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript • Strong communication and interpersonal skills Why Great Southern Bank?
