$79,176 - $86,438 up to 15.4% Superannuation Greenacres - SA The Role An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced Administration Officer to undertake the role of Chief Clerk (CCLK) at Adelaide Universities Regiment (AUR), located at Hampstead Barracks, Greenacres. As the CCLK within the Headquarters you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of Australian Defence Force members, public servants and contractors who directly support AUR in meeting operational and training outcomes. The role is an integral position, which directly contributes to the efficient coordination of resources and business operations and may supervise a small team of full-time and part-time uniformed members. As the CCLK the role is responsible for: Utilising Human Resource Information System (HRIS) - data entry and interpretation of information and present to principle staff. Processing invoice payments, responding to general resource inquiries, and managing various resource functions. Maintaining and coordinating records management systems in line with Defence policies and procedures. Team oriented mindset with an ability to work in a diverse environment. Share information, monitor work practices, set work priorities and develop local procedures. You may be required to supervise and provide leadership to a small team, providing coaching and on-the-job training for newer and less experienced team members. Performing “front of office - reception” administrative support functions, including greeting visitors and receiving and responding to phone calls, emails and general correspondence. About our Team AUR is a multi-disciplinary, integrated team committed to the delivery and training of the Part-Time Force for Army. As a small team, it plays a vital role in supporting the overall business operations of the AUR. Our Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be an experienced Administration Officer with strong organisational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and exercise discretion. You will have well developed communication skills to work across face-to-face, phone and written correspondence. To be successful in this role you will have: Demonstrated experience in an administrative service delivery environment. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word and an ability to learn and use the Defence Human Resource Information System (currently, PMKeyS) and Financial Management Systems. Demonstrated experience operating an Information and Records Management System; you will be required to use, or be able to be trained to use – Objective. A commitment to on-the-job training and participation in activities to build and maintain customer service skills and systems. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team and work environment. The ideal candidate will be adaptable in meeting the needs of a changeable work environment.
