The Role This Casual Occupational Therapist position provides weekend cover for our 7-day rehabilitation service at Cabrini Brighton and Malvern. Weekday cover in either acute care or rehabilitation services is also required for leave periods. Please note applicants can nominate availability for weekend or weekday or both. The role is supported by a strong multi-disciplinary team. Key responsibilities Provide patient-centred Occupational Therapy clinical management to all rehabilitation patients (including treatment, re-evaluation, documentation, team liaison, and effective discharge planning) Work with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure safe and appropriate discharge planning Apply sound clinical knowledge and reasoning of Occupational Therapy practice and principles Manage time effectively and prioritise tasks Be a self-starter, showing a commitment to learning and self-development About you We’re seeking a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist with relevant experience in rehabilitation, who is confident, compassionate, and patient-focused. You will have: Current registration with AHPRA and eligibility for membership to OT Australia. Current Victorian driver's license. Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes. Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills. Well-developed interpersonal & communication skills – written and verbal - with a strong client focus.
