This is not just a sales role - it's consultative and technical. You’ll be showing clients how to assemble and install components, demonstrating new fabrics and products, and advising how smaller businesses can diversify their offering - from manufacturing venetians one day to roller blinds the next. You’ll manage an established client base and also work to expand into new accounts across QLD. Regional travel will be required (usually once every 4 weeks), but most of your work is localised to SEQ. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the state sales and territory plan Work closely with clients to grow sales, upsell and cross-sell across the product range Manage your own call cycles Provide hands-on support and product knowledge to manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships Collaborate with marketing, product and sales teams nationally Drive continuous improvement, reporting on market trends and competitor activity What We’re Looking For Proven experience in sales, account management or business development (window furnishings or similar industry is highly regarded) Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills Comfortable explaining technical components and guiding clients on installations Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Proactive, solutions-focused and highly organised A self-starter who can work autonomously but collaborate with national stakeholders Experience in the blinds, awnings, or window furnishing industry will be looked upon favourably, especially if you understand the needs of both installers and retailers.
