Description Job Description We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to our Burnie Terminal Operations. This role will be integral in managing daily operational processes, assisting with reporting, procurement, and ensuring smooth administrative functions across the department Primary Duties & Responsibilities Payroll Support : Manage time and attendance reporting for all site employees, including employee reimbursements, acting as a liaison between the payroll department and terminal employees. Business Reporting: Assist with the preparation of daily cargo, end-of-month (EOM), and expenditure reports. Provide cross-functional support to various business units as needed. Procurement: Generate purchase orders, receipt goods received and assist in managing procurement processes. Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to passengers and site visitors, ensuring a positive experience. Filing Systems: Develop and maintain filing systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records and general documentation. Contact Management: Maintain and update contact lists for employees, vendors, and key stakeholders. Stock Control: Manage stock levels, including ordering and ensuring adequate supply. Skills And Experiences About You: We are seeking an individual with proven experience in administrative support, preferably in an operational or logistics environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring accuracy. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the role involves interacting effectively with a variety of stakeholders. Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required for reporting and data management, along with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
