We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Claims and Safety Administrator to join our Health & Safety team. This internal opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in workers’ compensation—whether from a client-side or insurer background—who is ready to take the next step in their career. This role has a strong focus on claims administration, while also supporting safety-related compliance and documentation across our network of veterinary clinics. Based at our shared services head office with a hybrid arrangement (four days in-office), you’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure timely, accurate, and empathetic claims support. Key Responsibilities Administer and support the end-to-end workers’ compensation claims process, including lodgement, communication, and documentation Act as a central liaison between clinic leaders, return-to-work coordinators, and insurers to ensure clear communication and consistent processes Manage and triage the Safety Inbox, ensuring timely follow-ups and escalation of incident reports and claims-related queries Keep all claims and incident data up to date in our systems, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality Assist with reporting, tracking trends, and preparing documentation for internal stakeholders and audit purposes Support the broader Health & Safety team with general administrative tasks related to compliance, training records, and document control Skills, Attributes and Experience: Experience wo rking in a claims administration, insurance, safety, or compliance-related role Knowledge of workers’ compensa tion processes (client-side or insurer background highly desirable) Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities with discretion and professionalism Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Confidence using Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook); experience with WHS or incident management systems is a bonus A proactive, adaptable mindset and a strong sense of ownership Why VetPartners?
