Role Status: Full-time term vacancy until 15 May 2026 Remuneration: ASO3 ($67,589 - $72,033 per annum) 11.5% Superannuation Role Details The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Senior Administration Officer to join our team in the Office of Professional Practice. In this role, you will be responsible for: Providing effective and comprehensive administrative support service relating to human resources. Liaising with Departmental Workforce Management and Payroll Services in regard to staff audits, payroll enquiries and related issues. Conducting minor reviews of existing administrative systems, practices and procedures and suggesting recommendations. Assisting with budget and cash flow projections, budget preparation, salary estimates, cash flow and monthly expenditure reports. Providing an effective financial support service including invoicing, purchase order management and monthly management reporting requirements. To be successful in this role, you will have: Exceptional multitasking abilities, with the ability to manage a high and varied workload, organise priorities, meet deadlines and take initiative. Experience in providing administrative support relating to finance and budget requirements, human resources, facilities and records management. Proficiency in following procedures and processes to avoid errors, take corrective action to minimise mistakes and have high attention to detail. Experience in identifying and analysing problems through investigation, research and consultation to provide effective solutions.
