About the opportunity: St. John Paul II is actively seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Learning Support / HSIE Teacher to become a valuable part of our team in a full-time temporary role starting 23 June 2025. Your duties will include but are not limited to: Structuring lessons to support diverse student development Creating safe, inclusive, and challenging learning environments with equitable behavior management Collaborating to develop and implement programs for diverse learning needs Developing, monitoring, and recording progress for vulnerable students through personalized learning plans. Diagnosing learning challenges and devising effective strategies. Applying extensive pedagogical knowledge in HSIE to enhance learning. Working constructively with stakeholders to set achievable student goals. Modelling inclusive teaching practices. Assisting with professional learning for staff. Performing tasks as directed by the Principal or delegate. About you: To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the core purpose and values of St John Paul II Catholic College along with: Tertiary Qualification in Education Statements of Service Working with Children Check clearance NESA Accreditation Effective interpersonal skills and collaborative teamwork. A proven ability to deliver high-quality classroom teaching, tailored to meet the diverse and high support needs of students, enabling them to reach their full potential.
