The role – Product Design Teacher (Secondary 7-10) CREST Education has an opportunity for a Product Design Teacher to join its Hillcrest Secondary teaching team on a fulltime - fixed term basis commencing from 21 July 2025 (commencement of term 3) to 15 August 2025. The successful candidate will have: Deliver Engaging Curriculum: Plan and implement high-quality Product Design lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum and VCE/VCAL (or VCE Vocational Major), ensuring a balance of theory, practical application, and design thinking. Foster Creative and Critical Thinking: Guide students through the design process to solve real-world problems, encouraging innovation, resourcefulness, and reflective practice. Facilitate Practical Learning: Manage the use of tools, materials, and technologies in workshops and design studios, ensuring safe and effective hands-on learning experiences. Assess Student Progress: Design and deliver assessment tasks that fairly evaluate student achievement against learning outcomes, providing timely and constructive feedback to support student growth. Differentiate Instruction: Cater to diverse learning needs and styles through differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.
