About the OPPORTUNITY As the Practitioner Project Manager – Detail Design , you'll be working alongside a team of experts providing essential project management support that enables the Program to meet its technical, cost, and schedule goals. As you build your knowledge and expertise around Ship Building and our amazing equipment, you'll have the opportunity to run small to medium size projects, putting your skills to the test and making a real impact on our operations. Key responsibilities include: Support the Project Manager with planning and delivery of straight forward to complex projects Hands on, actively engage stakeholders, drive projects to a successful conclusion Define project goals and objectives, develop project plans and timelines Identify project risks and develop risk management plans Manage project budgets and tracking project expenses Support, develop and manage schedules, timelines, and agendas Support the development of reports and presentation packages to communicate project status, milestones, and risks to stakeholders and team members About YOU Demonstrated experience in Project Management Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel Ability to partner with and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to obtain the necessary deliverables Willingness to learn, give everything a go and ask lots of questions to expand your knowledge Capability to identify and solve complex problems, think critically and innovate Current NV1 Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain in addition to eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations We believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they don't tick all the boxes.
