About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Network Engineer. You’ll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments. Reporting to the IT Solutions Delivery Manager, you’ll be the go-to expert for Palo Alto, Aruba, and Azure cloud networking solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement secure and scalable network solutions using Palo Alto firewalls, Aruba wireless, and Azure cloud technologies Provide advanced troubleshooting and performance tuning for network infrastructure Monitor, maintain, and optimise network systems across cloud and on-prem environments Ensure security best practices are followed, including VPNs, firewalls, and access controls Document network designs, configurations, and operating procedures Collaborate with internal IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders on technical solutions Participate in audits, compliance activities, and IT projects About you: RDO Equipment is seeking a highly experienced Network Engineer with strong skills in Palo Alto and Azure Cloud technologies. You have the right to work in Australia You bring 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on Palo Alto and Azure Cloud You have hands-on experience with Aruba wireless networks, as well as routing protocols like BGP/OSPF You are well-versed in network security, virtualisation, and cloud networking (AWS or Azure) You hold relevant qualifications – ideally a bachelor’s degree in IT and certifications such as PCNSE, CCNP, ACMP, or Azure/AWS Solutions Architect. You thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments and have a strong customer service mindset.
