The Role Reporting to the Creative Lead, CulturalConnect, this role is a member of SBS Media’s CulturalConnect (Brand Partnerships) team. This position is responsible for producing innovative and creative graphic design suitable for digital, presentations and print executions. You’ll develop high-impact presentation materials that transform data and ideas into engaging visual storytelling and generate and implement attention-grabbing campaigns for commercial partners that align with the SBS brands, as well as showcasing the SBS Media brand in trade marketing campaigns. Excellent attention to detail and proven ability to create efficient file management is required, as well as the ability to work individually and as part of a team. As part of the application process you will be required to submit a portfolio of work Selected candidates will also be required to undertake an assessment task for the Selection Panel's consideration. This position is classified as Level 2 Commercial under SBS's current Enterprise Agreement. The successful applicant will be offered a base salary of up to $85,000 p.a. plus Superannuation of 11.5% (or 15.4% under the Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation) dependant on experience. About you (minimum requirements): Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in print and digital design at a mid-weight level. Demonstrated extensive knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint), Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, as well as SharePoint and Teams as you will use these in your day-to-day. Demonstrated skill in PowerPoint animations for client facing presentation Experience in data visualisation, infographics and corporate storytelling Some experience in using Adobe After Effects and motion design would be highly valued although not necessary. Some experience in using Canva, html5 and Google Web Designer would be an advantage. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and workflows with stakeholders, delivering outcomes that meet a brief in a timely manner. A strong portfolio of varied creative work from presentations to digital and multiplatform campaigns. Key relationships with other roles and external stakeholders: The core function of CulturalConnect is to support the SBS Media Sales team SBS Media Creative Services team, working alongside other creatives and the implementation team. Reporting to the Creative Lead, CulturalConnect. SBS Marketing & Creative for tone of voice and brand compliance. Freelance designers and creatives on a project-to-project basis.
