The Role As a Full-time Grooming Salon & Retail Leader at our Bondi Junction location, you’ll lead a team in delivering premium grooming and playtime services and a tailored retail experience. This hands-on leadership role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves dogs, and has a strong presence for customer service, team coordination, and business operations. This role is Monday to Friday, (shifts start and finish varying times 8:45am and 5:45pm) with the occasional Saturday so its a great role for someone that loves management but wants their work/life balance. Key Responsibilities Salon & Grooming Management Oversee the day-to-day operations of the salon Support and manage a team of groomers – approx. 4 staff a day Ensure high grooming standards, dog welfare, and customer satisfaction Coordinate grooming schedules and client bookings Conduct quality checks and manage client feedback Retail & Customer Service Manage the boutique retail space, visual merchandising, and product stock Deliver outstanding customer service and build lasting client relationships Promote sales, product knowledge, and new stock launches Team Leadership Onboard, and train new staff Lead with positivity, accountability, and collaboration Coordinate rosters and ensure coverage for grooming appointments Foster a supportive and respectful team culture Operations & Administration Manage day-to-day business operations and KPIs Handle store reporting, ordering, inventory control, store maintenance, incident handling and financial performance Collaborate with HQ on promotions, events, and local marketing initiatives About You Experience in retail and/or grooming salon management (pet industry experience a bonus) You’re confident, personable, and love building genuine relationships with clients Comfortable speaking with customers in-store, over the phone, and via email, including handling enquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and care You bring strong sales and service skills, with the ability to recommend products and services to suit each dog’s needs Calm and solution-focused when managing incidents or complaints, always putting the dog’s wellbeing and the client experience first Experienced in team leadership, scheduling, and daily operations Organised, efficient, and confident in managing schedules and operations Passionate about pets, people, and creating a high-quality boutique experience Perks & Benefits Work with a respected and established Australian brand Great team environment with ongoing training and support Discounts on services and retail products No Sundays or public holiday shifts Paid Birthday Leave If you’re ready to lead a boutique team that’s all about style, service, and wagging tails, we’d love to hear from you!
