Contract Administrator — Artarmon, Willoughby Area

MWP is seeking a highly skilled and motivated full-time Contract Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing draft contracts, negotiating final agreements, and managing the implementation and service delivery under the contracts for the delivery of construction and related services. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: Consider requests for tender etc and undertake detailed analysis of the resources that will be required to deliver – and the costs that will be associated with delivering – the requested services. Draft contracts based on project requirements an in a way that ensures all terms and conditions are clearly outlined and compliant with industry standards and regulations. Engage with clients, subcontractors, stakeholders and suppliers to negotiate contract terms, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached. Oversee the execution of contracts, ensuring all parties adhere to the agreed terms. Manage service delivery to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Maintain accurate records of all contract-related documents and correspondence. Prepare regular reports on contract status, performance, and any issues that arise. Ensure all contracts comply with relevant legislation, industry standards, and company policies. Address any compliance issues promptly and effectively. Work closely with project managers, construction teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless contract administration and project delivery. Identify and resolve any contract-related issues or disputes in a timely and effective manner and negotiate variations on contracts where necessary. Where necessary, liaise with government agencies both as part of formulating contracts / variations to contracts and how required works can be undertaken in a way that complies with all regulations and similar requirements. Update standard contracts to address any issues that become apparent. Provide advice to senior management in relation to issues that arise under contracts. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience as a Contract Administrator in the construction industry. Strong understanding of contract law and industry regulations. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously. Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
