Your New Role As the Mid UX/UI Designer reporting into the Senior Manager, User Experience, you will primarily be responsible for the visual and interactive elements of products, ensuring its visually appealing, intuitive and easy to use. To achieve this, you will be working closely with UX Designers and developers to create high-fidelity screens that represent how the product will look and function. Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to Design high-quality, user-friendly interfaces across our public-facing and authenticated platforms Work with UX Designers to create polished UI designs using Figma. Ensure designs are responsive, accessible and engaging. Effectively communicate your designs to developers and other key stakeholders. Support the delivery team to make sure features are implemented as intended. Ensure consistency with brand guidelines Document design standards and patterns What You’ll Need Solid experience in UX/UI role ideally within Financial Services Proven track record of delivering effective digital experiences Proven experience working with design systems and brand guidelines Technical Proficiency with Figma wireframing, prototyping and high-fidelity designs Working understanding of HTML/CSS Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards Strong UI and visual design skills with keen attention to detail Understanding of user-centered, data-driven and responsive design principles Knowledge of mobile application design Ability to balance creativity with systematic design approaches Experience with user flows, personas, journey mapping Ability to transfer user needs into effective design solutions Life at AustralianSuper AustralianSuper is committed to colleague development, and we support our people with ongoing learning, coaching and training, as well as career opportunities across our expanding global organisation.
